Aditya Narayan is the host for the show Indian Idol 12. He was not on the sets of the show as he was suffering from Covid-19. He is now fully recovered and will be on the sets for upcoming episodes.
Aditya Narayan and his wife tests positive for Covid-19 during the start of April month. After which he was home quarantine and didn’t continue to be on the sets for shoot. Aditya posted regarding the same on his social media Instagram handle informing all the fans and friends.
The actor was also hospitalized after he tests positive for Covid-19.
In the meantime, while he was away from the show it is Rithvik Dhanjani who is hosting the show. Earlier Jay Bhanushali was hosting the show. However, he couldn’t continue due to prior work commitments.

There is also a change in the judging panel of the show. Himesh Reshammiya won’t be able to join the cast of the show as of now. Till then we will be seeing Anu Malik and Manoj Muntashir on the judging panel of the show.
However, Neha Kakkar and Vishal Dadlani will continue to judge the show.
Anu Malik has been a part of the show earlier as the judge for the show. However, he was dropped due to #MeToo charges on him. He will be filling up the space till Himesh Reshammiya joins the shoot again.
