Rishina Kandhari’s moon hunt experience for Karva Chauth
Mumbai, 03, November, 2020: With Karvachauth around the corner, women across the country have started preparing for the festival and its celebrations. As this year, like every other festival, Karva Chauth too is not going to be the same but there’s no harm in looking back at the beautiful celebrations of the past and living them all over again.
Rishina Kandhari, who is currently seen in Dangal TV’s Aye Mere Humsafar, loves celebrating the festival. She reminisces one of her Karva Chauth experiences which turned out to be a memorable event.
She shares, “My most memorable moment of Karvachauth is when me and my husband went for a moon hunt. This one time I was so tired after fasting the whole day that my husband could not see me in that state. But since I hadn’t seen the moon I wasn’t sure if I should open my fast. We called up a couple of friends and they told us that the moon was out but we couldn’t see it from our terrace so he decided that we’ll go find it where it’s seen from. I quickly packed my ritual thaali and pooja items, hopped in the car and we went on a drive. Finally we spotted the moon in the middle of a road. I opened my fast and then he took me to a fine dining for candle night dinner. I still remember that crazy drive with soft romantic music in the background.”
That was quite a unique celebration and indeed a memorable one for Rishina.
